Christopher Miller and
Lynnanne Hanson-Miller - Swing - 101 (both) / Tap (Chris) / Polynesian (Lynnanne) Dance

Picture
The Millers are seasoned teachers and performers of world dance, and have a wealth of knowledge in Argentine Tango, American Vintage from Ragtime to Swing, Hungarian, plus individually in Tap (Chris) and Polynesian (Lynnanne).   We look forward to their return to Folklore Camp this summer with their fun and engaging classes!

Chris was a featured performer and dance soloist with the AMAN Folk Ensemble for a span of over 25+ years starting in the early 70's.  He is an artist and craftsman by trade, creating unique designs that have made his jewelry and cards popular for over 40 years at craft & art shows, Renaissance & Dickens Faire's and local venues.

Lynnanne has dedicated 25 years to the instruction, preservation, research and performance of multi-cultural dance and heritage.   She was a performer and choreographer for Westwind in the 1980s, before joining AMAN Folk Ensemble as a performer and teacher in the 1990's.  She is currently a Teaching Artist in schools throughout the L.A. area, and runs a youth and family dance series at a studio in Altadena, CA.
