1962 - 2019
Get to know Folklore Camp
Mendocino Folklore Camp was an opportunity to get away from the world while experiencing so many diverse parts of it. Come spend a week in the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California's Mendocino Woodlands.
Experience the joy of relaxing in nature, vacationing with old and new friends, feasting, learning, and enjoying the daily dance parties or fun folklore celebrations! |
Mendocino Folklore Camp was a week-long camp that allowed an escape into nature while exploring world cultures through dance and music. We invite you to check out our HISTORY to learn more about us.
Our last year was 2019. After many years of fending off the inevitable, the ending finally happened because of an aging camp population along with waning interest and support. In hindsight, it was a huge boon since the progression of COVID-19 would have made 2019 our final year whether we wanted it or not. This website will remain as a reminder of Camp, and as a way to keep the legacy alive. Feel free to browse, hopefully bringing up some feelings of nostalgia for any who had previously attended.
