Activities: Other Camp Activities
Workshops and Teachers
Local Attractions
The morning activities can include exploring a path through a redwood grove, attending world dance and music classes, or sitting by the lodge's fireplace and reading.
Afternoon
choices are crafts, a trip into Mendocino for browsing or shopping, board
and card games, swimming in the creeks, driving to the ocean, or just relaxing.
The
evening activities begin with a cocktail hour and special event in which
the campers take part, either as spectators or part of the creative team
and actors. This year's themes will include parties honoring the cultures
of our three main dance teachers, Serbia, West Africa and Eastern Europe.
In addition special theme nights will be: Early California Fandango, the
Roaring Twenties, and a final night student concert.
After
dinner, there is a short time to dance the material taught during this
and past camps followed by an evening of international dance played by
our tremendously talented and versatile camp band.

Though a favorite spot for some after the evening dance is the comfort of their own bed in their cozy cabin, for others there is music, games and laughter in the lounge. Impromptu concerts, sing-alongs, stories and dancing go on into the night.
